Everything in TrendTrader Pro revolves around one screen: the Dashboard. Here's what you're looking at the first time you open it, and what to do in your first ten minutes. (Prefer video? Watch the official platform walkthrough on YouTube.)
The layout
On desktop, the Dashboard is three panes side by side:
Signal Feed (left) — every market in your watchlist with its current signal. The ENGINE LIVE indicator at the top confirms the signal engine is running.
Chart (center) — a full interactive price chart for whichever market you've selected, with signals marked directly on the candles — the current one bright, earlier ones dimmed.
Watchlist (right) — a compact navigator of your markets, grouped by asset class, with filter tabs and an Add button.
Along the left edge is a slim navigation rail: Dashboard, Watchlist, and University at the top, with Settings and Log out pinned at the bottom.
Step 1 — Add your first markets
A brand-new watchlist is empty, so the dashboard greets you with a welcome card. Click Add Assets to Watchlist (or the Add button in the watchlist pane) to open the asset picker. Search by name or symbol — or browse by category chips (Forex, Crypto, Commodities, Stocks, Indices, ETFs) — and click + next to anything you want to follow. Your watchlist holds up to 100 pairs.
Step 2 — Read the feed
Each feed row shows the market's ticker, how long the current trend has been running (for example "3d · Forex"), and a colored signal pill — green Buy or red Sell — with the date the signal fired underneath. A "new" badge means the signal flipped direction recently; new flips sort to the top of the feed.
The Daily / Intraday toggle above the feed switches between the end-of-day signal engine (all plans) and the 1-minute intraday engine (Pro plan).
Step 3 — Explore the chart
Click any feed row and the chart follows. In the top bar you'll find the timeframe tabs — 1m up to 1M (monthly) — plus the selected market's signal pill. On the chart itself:
Signal markers are pinned to the exact candle where each signal fired — the current signal bright, earlier ones dimmed as history.
The Trend Locked pill (top-left) shows the live trend direction at a glance.
A Market closed pill appears when that market's trading session is closed — the chart stays fully interactive so you can keep analyzing.
Pan and zoom freely; live prices stream in while a market is open.
Step 4 — Make it yours
Head to Settings → Preferences to set your default chart timeframe for the Daily and Intraday tabs. The dashboard also remembers your last-viewed market between visits.
That's the whole loop: watchlist → feed → chart. From here, the University takes you deeper, one short lesson at a time.
