Display name, username, and email

What your display name, username, and email address are, and how to change them in Settings.

Written by TrendTrader Pro Team

Your profile lives under Settings → Account. It holds four pieces of information: display name, username, email address, and the date your account was created.

Display name

Your display name is how you're greeted around the app.

To change it (email/password accounts):

  1. Open Settings → Account.

  2. Next to Display name, click Edit.

  3. Type the new name and click Save (or Cancel to discard).

If you signed in with Google, your display name comes from your Google profile and is read-only here — you'll see a note that it's set via your sign-in provider. Update your name in your Google account instead.

Username

Your username is a unique handle that identifies your account.

To set or change it:

  1. Open Settings → Account.

  2. Next to Username, click Edit.

  3. Enter your username and click Save.

Usernames must be 3–24 characters using lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores only (for example, trend_rider_7). Each username is unique — if you see "That username is taken.", try a variation.

Usernames are editable for every account, whether you sign in with a password or with Google.

Email address

Your email address is shown in Settings → Account but cannot be changed. It's the permanent identifier for your account — it's where signal digests, receipts, and account emails go, and it's locked to keep your billing and security history consistent.

If you need to move to a new email address, contact support and we'll advise on the best option for your situation.

Account created

The Account created date is shown for reference and can't be edited.
