Daily vs. intraday signals

The difference between daily and intraday signals, which plans include each, and what is never plan-gated.

Written by TrendTrader Pro Team

TrendTrader Pro delivers two kinds of signals. They come from the same trend-detection engine, but they operate on different timeframes and suit different trading styles.

Daily signals

Daily signals track the prevailing trend on the daily timeframe. The engine scans every covered market once per day and updates each asset's signal — BUY or SELL — based on whether a new established trend has formed on the daily chart.

Daily signals are the backbone of the platform: slower-moving, less noisy, and well suited to swing trading, position trading, or simply confirming the higher-timeframe direction before you take a trade on any timeframe.

Daily signals are included in every plan (Core and Pro).

Intraday signals

Intraday signals apply the same trend-detection approach inside the trading day, reacting to trend flips in minutes rather than once per day. They suit active traders who want faster entries and exits, or who use the daily signal for direction and the intraday signal for timing.

Intraday signals are a Pro plan feature. On the Core plan, the Intraday tab shows the feature as locked; upgrading to Pro unlocks it instantly.

Many members combine the two: trade intraday signals only when they agree with the daily signal's direction. The 2026 Performance Report measures confirmed intraday signals separately, so you can see exactly how that combination has performed — see trendtrader.pro/performance-report-2026.

What is never plan-gated

Your plan gates signals, not market data. On every plan you get:

  • The full professional chart for every covered market.

  • All chart timeframes, from 1-minute up to monthly candles. Candle resolution is never restricted by plan — a Core member can view 1-minute candles just like a Pro member.

  • The complete watchlist and full market universe (500+ markets).

  • The AI read on every signal you have access to.

  • Full signal history for your plan's signal types.

So if you are on Core and looking at 1-minute candles, that is expected — what Pro adds is the intraday signals on top of them.

Which should I choose?

  • You trade a few times a week or hold positions for days: Core covers you.

  • You trade actively during the session and want the engine's read on intraday trend flips: Pro.

You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings — upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades keep your current plan's features until the change takes effect. See Change or cancel your plan for details.
